Why Did I Become A Chiropractor?

Dr. Travis Howell

One of the most common questions I get is why did I become a chiropractor?

It wasn’t because I wanted to use a stethoscope every day. I hardly even use this thing. It wasn’t because I wanted to check people’s reflexes every day with this reflex hammer.  I barely use this thing either.

The real reason I became a chiropractor was because I saw the power of the chiropractic adjustment for my own family.

My wonderful daughter was very young. She was only two or three. She was getting some chronic ear infections.

My chiropractor at the time introduced me to the idea of bringing my child to the chiropractor, which I hadn’t previously thought of, even though I’ve been going to the chiropractor since I was a little kid.

But once he opened my eyes to the power of chiropractic through how it helped my daughter, I was hooked.

I said, “You know what? This is what I’m going to do forever.” So you can thank my friend, Dr. Torsney, and my daughter, Kylie, for getting me into the world of chiropractic.
